I’m Marquessa, a Norwich‑based sculptural maker creating textured, character‑led pieces shaped from recycled textiles, natural fibres, and tactile materials. My work blends whimsical storytelling with handcrafted detail, forming sculptures and artefacts that feel alive and invite close exploration.

Texture is at the heart of my practice. I build with materials that carry history — stitched surfaces, layered fibres, reclaimed textures — letting each element guide the personality of the piece. Every sculpture begins with a spark of character, growing through touch, curiosity, and the quiet narratives held within sustainable craft.
